Breheny have been working with Maidstone Borough Council and Mote Park management on works for the Mote Park Reservoir. Works have included the recently completed wave wall along the top of the historic dam.
We have also carried out a silt clearance exercise at the front of the historic boathouse. This will allow further works to be carried out within the boathouse that will see the old penstocks removed and replaced with new, electrically operated ones.
Further progress on site has seen the construction of the spillway retaining walls and the installation of the Armorflex concrete matting completed. We envisage the completion of the spillway in the coming weeks, with the installation of the timber cladding, top soiling, and seeding.
Newly installed access ramp and stairs will also be completed in the coming weeks, with all concrete works now complete, leaving handrails to be fitted.
