CONGRATULATIONS to Robin Percy who has been with Breheny for 40 years!!
Robin joined Breheny 40 years ago as a Site Engineer; he split his time between two schemes (Severalls Lane, Colchester and Woodbridge Relief Road) whilst still attending Suffolk College one day a week.
Robin has worked his way up through the company developing his knowledge, gaining experience and building positive relationships. Throughout the 40 years, he has had a variety of roles including; progressing from Site Engineer to Site Agent, Project Manager on Electrical and Environment Agency Framework Contracts, Planning Manager and his current role National Framework Manager.
Robin is currently the National Framework Manager for our Environment Agency Operational Framework as well as supporting other departments wherever he can. Robin is known for his versatility and willingness to help anyone along with his renowned sense of humour (he has been telling the same jokes for the whole 40 years!).
“The main reasons for my longevity at Breheny:
1. The variety of roles I have had over the past 40 years
2. The brilliant people (mostly) I have worked with/under and continue to do so
Even though I am approaching 60 years of age, I have no thoughts of retiring at the moment as I really enjoy what I do and hope to carry on for many more years, although probably not another 40!”– Robin Percy
Thank you Robin for your dedication and hard work over the 40 years – you are a real asset to the team as well as a role model for others!
