J Breheny Contractors Ltd is committed, throughout its operations, to respect the environment and to make responsible use of available natural resources. We will pursue the use of processes, practices, materials or products, which avoid, reduce or control pollution.
In particular, it is our policy to comply with appropriate legislation and regulations, monitor performance and strive for continuous improvement in:
- Efficient use of energy and water
- Recycling of material
- Minimising waste disposal to landfill
- Reducing emissions to air, land and water
- Minimising our impact on the natural and built environment
I, personally, have a specific responsibility to everyone within the Company for ensuring that the necessary means exist to implement and monitor the effectiveness of this policy. This policy will be reviewed for adequacy during environmental management review meetings, to ensure continual improvement.
