Graduates

The company operates the Institution of Civil Engineering (ICE) training scheme and graduates are invited to join the scheme when commencing employment with us. Under the scheme, graduates work in various departments to enable them to meet the specific core objectives. The training would normally take about three years to reach MICE standard.

We also offer a limited number of university sponsorships to students at any stage of their degree course. These are normally offered to those working with us on a summer placement, who show potential and an interest in progressing their career with Breheny. Sponsored students spend the summer periods working on-site alongside our engineers and site agents, and would be expected to perform a more senior role and remain with us for at least two years once they’ve graduated.

All graduates are encouraged to follow a management approach and work towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer Status.

If you would like to find out more about our Graduate Scheme or Summer Placements, please contact Gordon Edgar.
